Hi Kathy7 thank you and I appreciate you working with us to sort this out. We may need to open a support case to dig deeper with you but there is one more thing I thought of.

Can you take a look at your video settings in the Zoom client, especially at the bottom click "Advanced". We may need to tweak these settings and see if we can find a winning combination.

Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. I have the same problem with Dell and Windows and have gone through each step several times. I don't have this problem with MS Surfacebook and Windows. Has anyone else found a different solution?

Thank you. Rest your mouse pointer near the bottom of the Zoom window - the controls will appear. Toward the left corner of the window you'll see icons for a microphone and a video camera. If either of those have a red line through them, that means they're muted.

Just click to unmute. In Zoom meetings with many participants, the presenter will sometimes ask participants to mute their video, since all those little video screens use a lot of bandwidth, and that can interfere with the presentation.

That is not the issue. This is not an issue that deals with basic Zoom or basic Windows functionality. It appears to be Unique to the Dell and Windows. Thanks again. Sorry, no help here.
